In her truly remarkable აღმოსავლეთ საქართველოს მთიანეთის ტრადიციული საზოგადოებრივ-საკულტო ძეგლები ("Traditional socio-religious monuments of the mountains of Eastern Georgia"), the Georgian ethnographer Vera Bardavelidze (1899-1970) set out to create an illustrated catalogue of all the shrines of Pshavi (Vol. I, Tbilisi: Metsniereba, 1974), Khevsureti (Vol. II1, published 1982) and Tusheti (Vol. II2, 1985). The three volumes comprise around 500 pages of detailed descriptions and hundreds and hundreds of photographs and architectural drawings, providing what must be the most complete list of all the shrines, altars, niches, &c. of these three ancient highland regions.
Note: Some of these "socio-religious monuments" are nothing more than small piles of stones with a tiny niche for candles, whereas others are entire complexes of buildings, some of which are individually quite large—viz.:
